Hi my name is Daniel Reese and I run Brass Monki. I am a part-time shoe customizer and the business has been running since summer 2009. I started by setting up a blog and linking it with various social networking sites. I enjoy taking images from pop culture and using Photoshop creating a sneaker design that can then be transformed into a wearable pair of customized, hand-painted/hand-finished sneakers. It is still very early days for me and I am learning by the minute! I have been amazed by the interest that my work has been receiving and it is very exciting to see my dreams turning into a reality.
